Entrepreneur in Neon Glassblowing
My love affair with Neon began as I started with an internship at Neonardo 4 years ago.
From the first moment I held a glass tube in my hands and witnessed the dance of flames shaping it into a unique form, I knew I had found my calling.
Each illuminated creation seemed to tell a story, capturing attention and emotions in a way that was both nostalgic and contemporary.
As my skills in neon glassblowing grew, so did my passion for the art.
I found joy in experimenting with colors, mastering the delicate balance of gases, and pushing the boundaries of design.
The humbling process of creation, from concept to the tangible glow of a finished Neon sign, fueled my entrepreneurial spirit to the point where i wanted to be the next Generation of Neonardo, so that i can continue the legacy of Thomas Wendler. -
Founder & Glasblower
Thomas career in the field of glass started as a scientific Glassblower (11 years), switched into the field of artisitic glassblowing (5 years)
and ended in the field of Neon glassblowing (23 years), where he found his true passion.
He worked 15 years for Neonardo, before he took over the company and made a name for itself.
Since then, he produced thousands of works dedicated to all of us and became a well known Neon Glassbender.
We are one of the few individuals left, who are skilled in the art of Neon glass blowing.
Our team is a dedicated duo of glassblower, each with a unique style.
Thomas Wendler practised the ancient handcraft for over 30 years and passed his knowledge on to me, by teaching me all the secrets of glass bending for the last 4 years.
He is now stepping back, to put a spotlight on to the next Generation of Glassblower.
Embracing the entrepreneurial path in the neon industry became a natural progression. I envisioned bringing this timeless craft to a new generation, blending tradition with innovation.
My journey from an admirer to an entrepreneur in Neon glassblowing has been an illuminating adventure.
The craft continues to captivate me, and the Neon signs we create tell stories that go beyond aesthetics—they reflect the essence of passion, craftsmanship, and the timeless beauty of light.
